Ski Touring Options
Short tours:
The Alps offers numerous options to satisfy the need from getting away from the crowds for a few day. A number of options are available in the Massif du Mont Blanc, Massif de Vanoise, around the Hospice de Grand Saint Bernard, and in the Oberland and Silvretta regions. Short tours generally involve staying in mountain huts or refuges for at least one night. Consult us for prices and informations.
Well Known Routes:
The Haute Route, from Chamonix to Zermatt, or touring in the Monte Rosa are tours that everyone aspires to. Have a look on special pages.
Day Tours - Introduction to Touring:
Day tours are always adapted to the technical level of the skiers and their fitness. Generally for days tours setting out from Chamonix we use the lift system to reach the higher levels and then set out from altitude. This avoids too much walking initially and so leaves more time for the off-piste descents.
Suggestions: Col de Berard, Col de Beujeant, Col de Passon.
