"Welcome to the magical world of heli-skiing"  Welcome to the magical world of heli-skiing, where OFF PISTE is written in capitals and all of your dreams are answered. Your 3 bladed taxi will whisk you away to virgin mountains and untouched slopes, far from the braying masses and traumatic lifts queues. The best snow on offer in the Alps will be at your finger tips and under your feet. Heliskiing is in fact illegal in France, but due to Chamonix being in the border of both Switzerland and Italy, nothing is far. Val Grisenche, Italys new mecca for heliskiing, with 20 drop off points, unequalled alpine views and the prospects of skiing Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Grand Combin and Grand Paradiso, makes it one of the best heliski locations in the world.  The day kicks off with an expresso (or a shot of Blueberry Grappa) in the local auberge, along with safety and kit checks and general preparations for the first flight. Take off itself will give you the first buzz of the day. The short trip skimming over the majestic Alps, then finding yourself suddenly in silence and alone on the top of a mountain, facing unequalled panoramas and untouched powder slopes will doubtless make your heart beat a little faster.
