Skiing Mont Blanc

Reaching the top of Mont Blanc on skis is an unforgettable achievement followed by the most exhilarating and longest descent in your skier's life.

Mont Blanc is a major objective for any ski-mountaineer.

What can be more fantastic than to ski down the Roof of Europe with its 3800 metre vertical drop and breathtaking panorama?

Programme :
Day 1: From the top of the Aiguille du Midi cable car, we'll climb down the ridge and do a little ski-tour to check the technical level and skills of the participants before checking in at the Cosmiques Hut (3613m) for the night.

Day 2: We'll get up at 2 am and start on our ascent, first up Mont Blanc du Tacul to the altitude of 4100m then up Mont Maudit to a ledge at 4280m. After the Brenva Pass, we'll ascend the summit ridge of Mont Blanc (4807m). From there, we'll either ski down the same route back to the Cosmiques Hut and then down Vallée Blanche, or take the Grands Mulets route down.

Required level:
Be a good off piste skier and have some mountaineering experience (be able to use crampons). Have a very good physical condition and be acclimatized to altitude if possible.

Time of year:
From April to May depending on snow and weather conditions.

Session:
2 persons maximum

Price:
950 € for the party (2 persons)
The price includes the mountain guide's services.
It does not include personal equipment, half board accommodation at the hut, packed lunches, lift tickets and personal insurance.
